A blue and pink wedding in Delhi
Just a few hours before you step out and you notice a stain, a broken zipper or naada ! It really is what horror stories are made of. But worry not we got some super swift and innovative solutions to these wedding day emergencies so you remain a Bride-Chilla and not a Bride-zilla !
Perfume Marks
You spritz your wedding day perfume on the blouse and OMG ! It stains at the worst area !!!
Solution: Dip cotton in talcum powder, apply it at the spot . The talcum absorbs the stain and after some time you can dust it off. Repeat if need be.
Broken / Stuck Zipper
Your blouse zipper just broke. WHAT THE?
Solution: If the zipper is stuck and won't go up try rubbing a candle on the zippers teeth to ease it upwards. If all else fails make sure you carry a needle and thread with you so your makeup artist can sow it in place or carry lots of safety pins.
Yellow stained face because of Haldi
You had your haldi the morning of the wedding and now your face has a yellowy tinge !! Oh my lord.
Solution: Dip cotton ball in milk and rub on your face and watch the yellowness slowly dissolve.
Lipstick mark on your cheek
Your aunt / mom came to see you in your room and gave you a soft peck on the cheek thereby leaving a lipstick mark
Solution: Try not to rub it out vigorously. Wipe it gently with a tissue and tell your MUA to add a bit of foundation to cover up the redness
Puffy or Red eyes
Ouch . Your makeup artist used a kohl that does not agree with your eyes and now they'r watering up. Or maybe you had a super late night and your eyes are super puffy
Solution: Well first of all always carry your own kajal with you lest this happens as some of the stronger kohls can result in allergies easily for sensitive eyes. But if you forgot to do that, get clear , refreshing eye drops to clear up the redness . Also putting a spoon in a refrigerator and then applying it on your eyes can be great remedy for puffiness.
Earring back fell on the floor
You were wearing your earrings when the earring back fell on the floor and now you can't find it. OH NO
Solution: Cutting a part of an eraser and using that is a good solution as an earring back, and ofcourse ideally you should carry extra ones.
Ink spot
You were signing a receipt at the MUA and your hand slipped? Now you have bits of ink stains on your dupatta
Solution: Apply a touch of hairspray to a cotton swab, then rub lightly over the stain. Source: theknot
Your stocking had a run
Wearing a dress and your stocking had a bit of a run and tear?
Solution: Apply clear nail polish to where the stocking tore. This prevents it from tearing further and will work if the tear is small.
Super tanned !
Had a mehendi in the morning and got super tanned being outdoors?
Solution: Rub tomato on your face for an instant tan removal
Naada of Petticoat comes out
OMG the Naada (string) of the petticoat isn't in its place now how do i tie my petticoat without it?
Solution: If your forgot to put the naada in the petticoat, then first of all go through your pyjamas and find a naada. Use a safety pin to weave the naada through..
