9 Things We Saw On #ShahidKiShaadi That Made Us Go Wheeeeee! (Also Secret Wedding Tips Stashed Inside)

So the biggest wedding of the season is over and we heaved a sigh of relief. Because our timelines are going a wee bit crazy with #shahidkishaadi on speed dial. It seems like everyone's tweeting and instagramming and watching EVERYTHING. So we picked up our own bits and pieces of this amazing shaadi and put out the best pictures - just for you! Yes, you can now sigh collectively that Shahid is off the market. But you can also delight in the fact that this wedding gave us a few inspiring ideas for your upcoming nuptials. Cheers to that! 1. The Ultimate #shahidkishaadi Selfie   Tweeted by our dear old Sasha himself. Note the bride wearing a gota patti dupatta. Let us tell you one thing - gota patti never goes out of style!     2. Holding hands and showing off those beautiful outfits The appropriate response to this picture of these two beauties holding hands - awww!!! Because look at Mira's beautiful pale pink Anamika Khanna and Shahid's immaculate outfit by Kunal Rawal. Just two people who look good being themselves! 3.  Personalising the decor with 'love' quotes   This one's a first. Instead of the traditional ghenda phool, these two chose yellow roses as garlands. Sweet stuff, we tell you! 4. Navratna Haars and Simple Jhoomars   We love the very beautiful navratna haar - and the very stylish jhoomar. Simple but emphatic! Mira might just be B-town's new fashionista! 5. Pinwheels and Bells - Mehendi Ceremony Decor   We at WMG always loved pinwheels and bronze bells but did we expect to see them together? not really! But at #shahidkishaadi we saw that these two made for an explosive combination. Cut, copy, paste! 6. Backdrop Love in Tiny Little Vases This one's an oldie, but a goodie. Tiny little roses were put into cute glass vases and used as on a wooden backdrop as photo-ops. Sweet things and classic ideas always work! We wonder whose idea that was? Mira Mira! 7. The 23 Lakh Engagement Ring Shines At The Wedding  Okay, so this solitaire is 23 lakhs. No biggie! It's just Shahid who gifted it to his dame. And we love how the lady flaunts it. Love is infinite, love is timeless - just like a diamond! 8. White Flowers Make a Great Crown  We loved how this sweet little girl wore the flowers for her Kaleera ceremony. That too in a simple yellow salwar. Going by her outfits, we'd say yellow and pink are back - hurrah pastels! 9. The Simplistic Mehendi Design Though big weddings demand bigger mehendi designs, we loved how mira kept it intricate but simple with a peacock and just a nice little design. Small but sweet!
