The Big Night

The Big Night! We all have a big night in our lives every year, every month, every day. The best way to bring our big night is without a doubt with the name that says it all . Last year was a milestone birthday for me and the first name that came to my mind was The Big Night. I met them, Gauri Chadha Rupani and Kunal Rupani and the first thing they said was leave it to us. Trust us. Let us surprise u. I trusted them with butterflies in my stomach somehow knowing they would my make my day special. They causuly asked me what i like in terms of colors & designs and what i desired. Thats all they needed, one meeting. The day arrived i was so excited and in the evening when i arrived at the venue i was blown away. Crying with excitement and antcipation. The entrance was a tunnel with lace and a cupid ceiling. The gardens were decorated beyond my wildest dreams. The ambience. The colors. The coordination. The team was hands on, alert and professional. Venetian dancers & Opera singers! I felt like i was on the set of a movie. Lights Camera, Action!

My lovely evening affair to behold. Looking back at all our wedding pictures, this one is undoubtedly my favourite. All Our loved ones in close proximity making this moment that much more special. Truly the moment of my dreams. Thank you @thebignightdxb for making it all happen and laying it out like clockwork. Love you guys. This was the exact kind of backyard vintage reception I’ve always imagined. The control freak that I am basically meant me getting into a DIY avatar managing a few million tasks leading up to the big day. Our wedding from the time the both of us met was pretty much 6 months. So one can imagine the rapid-fire project planning that went in. I remember the day I reached out to Gauri and told her that I needed her on board to plan my reception coz only she could understand my craze for perfection. I remember her calming me down with her ‘I’m here for you Darling ‘.Well that was it then. For the ones who don’t know Gauri and her husband Kunal run this stellar event agency out of Dubai called The Big Night DXB My brief to them were these 4 words 1-Vintage with a pinch of drama (coz that’s quintessentially me) 2-Minimal 3-Classic 4-Lots of Fairy lights (after all this was the stuff that my dreams were made of) After 4 months of insane ideation and hard work and one location recee to Goa what we saw was perfection to the absolute T. This is the best wedding gift that I could’ve ever asked for. I have massive gratitude I met you @gaurichadha @ruperss Thanks for being such an important part of my life. You guys spun some real magic and made my Big Night Bigger than I’ve ever imagined. Thanks for making it all so very Surreal!!
