With the groom being Marwadi and the bride Punjabi, we were extremely particular about weaving both cultures seamlessly into each celebration, and somehow, they made it look effortless. The Mehendi came alive in true Marwadi spirit with bursts of colour, vibrant umbrellas, and Rajasthani katputliyaan that became the heart of the setup. The Haldi transformed into a lively Punjabi pind meets souk bazaar, drenched in turmeric yellows, flowing drapes, and florals that captured the joy and warmth of the ritual perfectly. The Cocktail, which we fondly called our “Wedding Premiere,” was nothing short of a red-carpet moment, full of Bollywood drama, cinema-inspired elements, and the most delightful touch of goofy, custom movie posters featuring us that had everyone smiling. And then came the wedding itself, calm, mellow, and breathtaking. Soft pastels, baby’s breath, and rajnigandha filled the lawn with a freshness that instantly soothed every bit of pre-wedding anxiety, creating a space that felt intimate, airy, and deeply comforting. What truly set Pleasant Weddings apart, though, was how they showed up beyond decor. Every special request, no matter how inconvenient or last-minute, was handled with sincerity and speed. Banana leaves were sourced for the wedding decor despite it being completely off-season. When the groom’s family misplaced the kangana required for a crucial Haldi ritual, the team managed to arrange it within half an hour, ensuring traditions stayed intact without a hitch. Our movie posters were handed over just three days before the event and in an incorrect aspect ratio for printing, yet the team reworked them flawlessly without compromising the original design. On multiple occasions, they went far beyond their role, delivering flowers to the bride’s room, fetching a USB for the sound system, and quietly running errands that kept everything moving smoothly. A special mention to *Harsh Dhiman*, who led the entire experience with calm, care, and an incredible problem-solving mindset. His attention to detail and genuine involvement made us feel supported at every step. We walked away not just impressed, but deeply grateful.
