Medhavini

Medhavini Khaitan is a well-known menswear designer. Based in Kolkata, her passion became profession and that zeal is clearly visible in her label. Declared a winner at the ‘Parampara Pret’ show in Kolkata in 2004 by Sabyasachi Mukherjee and by Anamika Khanna in 2005, Sabyasachi had then marked her as the girl to watch out for in the near future. Her work is simple yet mature. Lounge-wear being her forte she describes her line as – “My collection reflects the choice of the upwardly mobile urban men – trendy with wear ability being the prime preference”. She loves playing with colours and experimenting with texturing.
