Just Candid

Had a very bad experience with this team. We had initial discussions with Aman who seemed to understand our requirements but on the event days the team.members were.different. none of our instructions were followed. the team was late for mehendi and Sangeet events. I being the bride, had to keep calling them for more than one hour & by the time they came , the satsang and home Sangeet function were almost over. then the team comes and taking half hand mehendi shots, & asks to leave. I had to keep asking them to stay and take photos when mehendi is complete. For Haldi, the team of four people stood in one corner and most of the photos are from the same angle. This is not what Candid means. I was expecting at least traditional shots would be good, but for my grah pravesh at in laws place, there is just a few photos of my feet. You can't even see me entering the home. It's been 1 yr and 3 months of our wedding and we don't have any performance videos, no album, no edited photos. The team doesn't take the call which is why I have to post this comment, maybe now someone will respond.

My daughter was married last weekend so I have not yet seen any of the photographs. My daughter chose Aman as her photographers and based on what I saw, I am confident the pictures will be beautiful. What I can tell you is that he came an hour early and scoped out the venue to get the best possible pictures. At one point, as I was trying to get my daughter's veil on, he gently came up behind me and whispered that the veil was backwards. He then took the veil, turned it, and placed it in her hair. At another point, he took the time to put on all the men's boutonnières. This to me, was above and beyond what he needed to do. Many guests said they never saw him as he snapped picture after picture. A very classy, fun-loving, and professional guy!

Professionalism and talent to the max. The photos were stunning particularly the pre-wedding shoot where we had loads of fun and the photos and videos turned out great. The wedding film complied by them will always be cherished by us and would remind us of the fun and happiness we had during our wedding. Would definitely recommend Just Candid for anyones' special day.

Aman is seriously talented and so hard working! I had my pre-wedding shoot done by them. They have such a good idea of all the locations, which made our 2 days of shoot very well-scheduled. I had told them about a few shots that I’d love to recreate if possible. They remembered all those shots even though I had forgotten! Even when my husband and I got tired, they motivated us to shoot for a bit longer. And the results are amazing. They are truly a dream team. Hope I get to work with them again 💛

Event date - 24 Nov, 2019 Before you read this review, please know that I work in the wedding industry myself and understand small ups and downs in deliverables, but the fact that I'm going to the extent of poorly rating Just Candid on a public platform shows how bad my experience with them was. 1) The team that made it for my event looked lost and did not follow the brief properly. I had a detailed discussion with Aman about the schedule and the requirements but the team showed up late. There are actually no pictures of the groom getting ready because they were late and did not answer their call. My reception was casual and I had requested the team to be with the couple so we can get pictures but they were hanging out in a corner as if they hadn't been briefed. 2) I had specifically asked for good footage of my sangeet but the videos left me so angry. The videographer had placed the traditional camera off center and people were getting cut from one side in the traditional footage (CAN YOU BELIVE IT!). In addition, he only kept focusing on me (the bride) as if the others didn't matter. Even an amateur videographer would know about this, I really doubt if the videographer was experienced. 3) No communication after the event - I never held up any part of their payment and was prompt in my responses but I did not hear from Aman up to 3 months after my event. My wedding montage came almost 6 months after my wedding and the complete footage took over a year (that too poorly edited). Messages and phone calls went unanswered forever and when I received a reply, it said that someone was unwell/someone had covid etc etc. Again, I understand! But the least you can do is respond and say that you will get back to me. But that never happened. By the time I got my full footage (which I had to beg for repeatedly), the excitement was gone. I didn't care to see what my wedding looked like; it was beyond disappointing. Either they don't have an experienced team or they forgot about my event and sent random people to shoot it, I still don't know what went wrong. The 1.5 rating is only because they did a decent job with the montage but apart from that, I can only say that I regret hiring Just Candid for my wedding.

Super creative and genuinely a nice guy. Aman has an creative eye to capture the moments beautifully. A true professional to create a customized photography experience.

The name truly does justice to the quality of work Aman and his team delivers. "Just candid" is one of the best photography teams to capture your best candid moments for the lifetime. We were lucky to have found Aman. Unlike other over hyped photographers, the team works really hard with you to get the natural and candid moments from you. Can't believe such a fantastic team exists in Udaipur!!Aman and rest of the team members are really good at communication, delivery and speed. Our entire wedding photography was so subtle and brilliant that it was almost effortless for us as a couple. They are gem of a human being and really courteous. I can definitely recommend it to everyone who is willing to get celebrity level pictures with least effort and trust. Great work Aman, way to go!
