WMG Red Carpet Bride at Divani: Glam Red !

While our first red lehenga from Diva'ni was all about modern, simplicity, this one was the exact opposite ! Glamorous, sparkly, with gorgeous detailing and a corset style blouse to boot. This was Punya's second change, and though she admitted she could just about barely walk in it, we think it fit her to the T . While we fussed over what accessories and jewellery to go with it (with so much going on in the lehenga, we chose a simple, elegant polki set which matched the bronze color of the embroidery, and a pale pink box clutch to highlight the pink roses), Punya played the part of the elegant, modern bride-to-be. From the bride: Living in Hong Kong the opportunity to dress up in Indian Bridal outfits and have your pictures taken would never be possible , so when I just happened to be in Delhi to plan my own upcoming wedding around the time of the Diva’ni shoot, I wasn’t going to refuse the offer. While the first lehenga I tried on was more my style- classic with a modern twist, the second one was all out glam and super heavy , with intricate detailing from waist down. The blouse was an interesting corset style, with fabric roses embellished on it. Shruti and her team did an amazing job with hair and make-up and totally transformed my look. Getting my pictures taken by Shiv and channeling my inner Bollywood diva amongst the various murals of YRF films and vintage Bollywood artifacts made me feel nothing short of a Yash Raj Heroine for a day! So worth it!
