Meet Karan & Radhika
"We were working together at an international consultancy firm. We started dating in a month and got married a year and a half later. We are the yin and yang to each other, and complement each other amazingly! The saying is true- opposites do attract!" explains Radhika.
The Wedding
From The Wedding:
Karan and I wanted a fun wedding which could bring out our personalities and most importantly which not only our guests, but we also could enjoy to the fullest ourselves! We did meticulous planning for the wedding including wedding planning diaries and wedding excels. The three things that we focused on the most for the wedding were:
Personalization: We had beautifully personalized chocolates (All Things Chocolate), personalized candles (Xora- The White Window), personalized playing cards, personalized wedding notebooks (Fluorescent Inc), wedding itinerary handouts, room welcome hampers, Hangover kits (with 2 beer cans!)
Bride's Baraat: Cause really, why should boys have all the fun? I had a baraat of 50 girls (sisters and friends) who wore safas and walked in front of me- dancing on some great songs.
The morning-after brunch: We wanted to spend time with friends and cousins who flew in from all over the world. Hence, we hosted a brunch for them the morning after the wedding! We had quirky, cute and fun decor with adorable signages, our caricatures, comics that we related to and of course toasts for the married couple!
Our photographers, Karan Sidhu was absolutely fantastic! They took beautiful photos without being intrusive at all and was an absolute pleasure to work with.
Amita Ahluwalia, my makeup artist was a magician at her work! She gave me a subtle yet bold, defining look that was simply outstanding! Forelsket designed some beautiful wedding cards- better than any brief I had given her. Our decor person, Poornima used great techniques with the right amount of flowers and perfect colors. Kundan, my Mehendi specialist gave me beautiful, subtle and perfectly-colored Mehendi. Everything was amazing and all my vendors did a great job!
