What's The Best Foundation For Weddings? 7 Bloggers Swear By These! (Read Up, Stock Up)

You set out with the best of intentions - put on your favourite concealer, wear your fun lipstick and generally, up your hair and brow game. That's not too much if you're a wedding guest. Way too less if you are the bride. It's probably just enough if you are a bridesmaid or a BFF. Whoever you are at a wedding, we are all too well aware of our faces looking like that guy from Scream at the end of the day.  Why does the masked face happen? One, because you didn't use the right foundation for your skin tone ( read all about choosing a foundation here!) and two, because you refused to check out the new stuff in the market and take reccos. As far as recommendations are concerned, we asked the pros - bloggers who have inspired us, bloggers who have attended many a wedding and came out looking fabulous. So 7 bloggers give us 7 foundations that have saved their day - read up, then  stock up! Snehal Fernandes of The Style Seekers Whether it's a full day wedding or just a sangeet party, the only beauty tool you need to keep you looking flawless is a good foundation! And because your base is the most essential part of your makeup routine, investing in a good quality one is always a good idea. The one foundation I swear by is the MAC Studio Fix foundation. It's consistency and coverage is by far the best out of all the foundations I have ever used. It's like a magic tool that gives you that flawless look effortlessly - such smooth finish and long-lasting. It is a bit pricey but trust me, once you get your hands on it, you'll be hooked. MAC studio fix makes you photo ready instantly! Masoom Minawala of The Style Fiesta Diaries
I love Bobbi Browns No 5 Long Wear Even Finish Foundation. My skin type is normal, and thankfully I don't require too much coverage (thanks to my good genes), so I apply it very lightly only along the areas on my face that need attention and blend generously. I usually dig a matte look which is why I opt for the liquid foundation instead of the stick.
Sonu Bohra of Fashion Bombay
I love the Shiseido Radiant Lifting Foundation with SPF15. It's good for a daytime function because it has a nice dewy finish and covers all imperfections without making it cakey. So if u have a daytime function haldi, Pooja etc, then this is perfect for you - so natural and non-sticky. For more coverage at the reception or a night event, I advise that you try Makeup Forever Face Luminizer Gel which is great as it makes you glow.
Aanam Chashmawala of What When Wear My current favourite foundation is L'Oreal Infallible 24-Hour Foundation. I wear shade #300, Ambre Amber. I absolutely love how it blends in with my skin and I think that the shades in this range by the brand are perfect for Indian skin tones like mine. Sanjana Samuel of The Whimsical Closet  I have oily, acne-prone and sensitive skin, I needed a foundation that was lightweight and wouldn't make my skin more shiny, such a prerequisite for the wedding season. 123 Perfect Foundation by Bourjois in Beige is perfect for my skin. It's not heavy so I do need a little concealer to cover marks but it doesn't make my skin look cakey at all which was the biggest draw. I love the finishing of the foundation as well. Using a sponge with a dabbing motion on the skin works the best with this liquid foundation. This foundation is anti-dark circles, anti-redness and anti-dull complexion and it stays true to its word. If you're having an active break out then probably this product won't be able to camouflage the acne but this foundation is wonderful for someone who's looking for a water based, hydrating foundation with added SPF. Shinjini Amitabh Chawla of The Delhi Bride Bobbi Brown Long Wear Liquid Foundation with SPF 15 is my go-to at weddings. You know the one that comes in that glass bottle? That's the one I'm talking about. I have combination skin so this really works on my skin. Using just a bit of that foundation gives my skin an even look, and since its water-based it doesn't make it oily either. And because Bobbi Brown has so many shades, I was able to find one that was perfect for me. It doesn't even look like I have foundation on because it literally is the exact shade of my skin. It doesn't get more perfect than that! Tanvi Rastogi of Tanvii I use Estée Lauder Double Wear as my skin type is normal. I like it because it is a long-lasting, hassle-free foundation. Doesn't require frequent touch ups and doesn't come-off on clothes, which are my two-pet peeves about foundations.
