We actually realised that the castle you see in the show is actually a manor house where the TV show was shot called
Highclere Castle in Berkshire, about an hour from London. It's an eighteenth-century London Lodge and seeing its popularity, the Earl of Carnarvon and his wife, the current residents of Highclere Castle decided to open it out to the public. Bookings are open
here so you should totes get on the bandwagon. This one's big on our #lustlist. Already we heard that there are themed tours and traditional afternoon teas for visitors.
