A new wedding is here. You know what that means? More color. More style. And tonnes of new ideas! And Rupani and Chirag's story doesn't disappoint one bit!

Hands down, this one qualifies as one of the most chill weddings we have featured on WedMeGood till date! Right from the bride's unique outfits in interesting silhouettes, and a refreshing break from cookie-cutter lehengas to lavish decor and lots of dancing ;) , fun oozed out of every function at this wedding in bright, colorful ways! Can't go without appreciating for not missing out even a fraction of the fun and capturing every detail, every expression and every dance step on their cameras!

Meet Rupani & Chirag

Theirs is the most fun story we have heard in a while! "We met in a Salsa class. Our instructor paired us together for a dance and that’s that :)," shares Rupani.

The Wedding

From The Bride

"Chirag and I danced through our 3 days of wedding celebrations. It was absolutely madness, completely stress free and we definitely had an overdose of dance - thanks to dansync - a studio I run with my partners," shares Rupani.

Angsana Laguna Beach Resort, Phuket, Thailand- What I love most about the venue is that every part has a unique, distinct character to it. We definitely had a very picturesque wedding with the most gorgeous sunset pheras on the beach that we could imagine.

Paveena Rathour - I booked her without even taking a trial and don’t regret that even one bit. In all functions, she experimented with my make up but at the same time kept my style in mind. More than anything else, I love her vibe. She told be I won’t let my bride leave the room, until she’s happy :) Everytime, I saw myself in the mirror after she did her magic, there was no question of not being happy.

Parag and Kanupriya, Fotowalle- the story folks- Chirag and I met them once and we knew we wanted them for our wedding. They are undoubtedly the best. Parag and his entire team made us feel so comfortable that even the awkward couple posing pictures were full of laughter. I love how easy it was to work with them even after the wedding. All our post wedding work was handed over to us exactly on time. Extremely professional and so much fun. Definitely made friends for a lifetime.

Our wedding planner, Annika from The wedding Network, Asia handled everything from the small details we wanted to creating completely different settings and vibes for all the functions. I also barely got any mehendi. Our wedding planners organised the mehendi artists locally from Bangkok.

Invites- So in the middle of making the gazillion dances for our wedding, my partner and super talented friend, Saloni, asked me how I wanted the wedding invites to be. I told her I wanted something rustic looking and definitely reusable. And she took another responsibility on her head and designed the most beautiful invites which could later be used as photo frames. DIY invites, just how I wanted.

Bridal Outfits-

Mehendi - Sonam Luthria- Colourful and vibrantly, no fuss, super easy to carry dhoti saree.

Engagement - Karren Millen- I wore a chic Forest green and black sequenced ankle length dress. My sister picked it up from Ireland and it fit me like a dream.

Pool party - My dad ? I remember there were a couple of days remaining before we all left for Thailand. And because I was so busy being a bridechilla that it was then that I realised I don’t have anything to wear for the pool party. My super dad came to the rescue, the day we were going to leave, he handed me my outfit. Poor guy got it made from his factory and yellow because I’m his sunshine girl.

Haldi - Namah by Parul Mongia-My husband and I wore match kurta pajama which had “Challenge Accepted” written at the back, clearly we were ready for the wedding. Parul was happy to customise this for us.

Wedding - Astha Narang- This was the only Lehenga I tried and I knew this is what I wanted to wear. It was a lovely nude colour with just the right amount of bling. I wore it and I knew it was made for me- not over the top, comfortable, with some glitter on top- very me !
