This wedding is a  fab style lesson in co-ordinating the bride and groom outfits without looking too similar ! Absolutely love the Groom's powder blue sherwani and how it complemented the cobalt blue in the bride's absolutely gorgeous lehenga - which was the perfect kind of traditional lehenga with a modern twist. Captured by Into Candid Photography, we also love that these two wrote vows for each other which they recited at the pheras. How sweet !

Meet Mitali and Anuj

From Mitali "Ours was an arranged marriage but no less romantic than a love marriage . Destiny played a very important role - he was the first guy I was meeting , and we wanted to be sure about each other so we took our own sweet time with the support of our parents. And then on a romantic dinner date, he popped up the question while we were walking on the beach ! That's why in our minds we fell in love and then our family arranged the wedding :) "                                                                                                                     Mehendi

Wedding

Bride and groom wrote vows for each other and recited them!

From the bride: We planned a destination wedding - Mumbai being the destination itself as majority of the guests were from out of town .The highlights of the mehendi was the photo booth and the colorful decor with windmills, puppets and flowers . We included the family performances in the mehendi as it was more of a private event and our close folks were in-house guests . We even had foot massage services on the mehendi!

Sangeet was more like a musical night followed by the Dj . Singers Roop Kumar Rathod and Sonali Rathod did a fantastic job, they just made us glued to the couches; us wanting more from them followed by the entire crowd dancing till midnight The most different and appreciated event was the wedding because me and my husband wrote our own vows for each other. We did not want to get married in the typical way where the panditji says the mantras and the guests sit blank . We made it a point to explain each and every step to the guests and also took vows ourselves and gave it a personal touch .The decoration was as simple as possible using flowers  to make it look elegant and classy .
