Uber stylish, destination wedding for designer Nishka Lulla

In what is possibly one of the most dramatic bridal entries we have seen in a long time- Nishka Lulla entered her wedding in a shikara riding on the water, holding a massive 30ft fuschia pink veil that trailed behind her (See the video). Ofcourse, being one of India's freshest new age designers, and the daughter of an industry stalwart ensured that her outfits would all be on point. But her stunning bridal lehenga that was equal parts kitsch, and equal parts Maharani took our breath away! The hot pink lehenga with dancing girls motifs, the green enamel in her jewellery and the striking blue blouse , photographed by the incredible Weddingnama team - made for a truly stunning portrait.

From the photographers (Ankita and Akash of Weddingnama): The beauty of this wedding cannot be described in words, but perhaps only in photos and on film. Every little detail was well thought of & carefully designed by Ms Neeta Lulla specially for her daughter and in that sense it was truly a ‘designer wedding’.

We were under a lot of pressure to ensure we capture the intricate details in their true essence. We are really glad that both Nishka & Dhruv understood the importance of good photographs and gave us ample time and freedom to use our creativity. Just loved the initial discussions, planning with Ms Neeta Lulla, Nishka & Dhruv and to see all the plans unfold magically in front of us was quite amazing. The same day edited film took a lot out of us in terms of the endless shoot-transfer-edit-convert routine but when we showed the film at their reception, the reactions and the response was overwhelming.
