If you are one of those lucky girls who have thick, luscious and long hair..I envy you . Pulling off a mean braid is second nature to you and lookie here- wedding braids are super hot this season (for north Indian weddings as well..we know all you south Indian brides already had your braid groove going) .
Brides are wearing braids to mehendi functions, to engagements and heck even wedding day, relaxed braids have started to make an entry into the beauty scene
Types of braids:
Braids with flowers

Loose, messy braids

Delicate bits smattered inside plaits
Absolutely love these two braids. Both have delicate bits of petals splattered in the middle as opposed to large flowers
Braided buns accessorized
Braided buns with gold leaf accessories or even using your necklace around your bun as an accessory would be a great way to add pizazz
South Indian brides have gorgeous hair ornaments ranging from all gold braided clips to small gold buttons interspersed with flowers !
Is a braid for you :
- Depending on your face shape choose a type of braid that will flatter you. For example a smaller face would look fabulous in a french braid, but for a larger more wider face shape opt for loose, messy braids framing your face.
- Braids with mathapattis look super gorgeous and so unique and can suit almost anyone as the matha patti hides the hairline.
- If you have thin hair then ask for hair extensions from your salon . They are available easily and can fake a gorgeous thick braid
- Worried about how a dupatta would sit on a braid? Don't be- with a bit of back combing everything is possible.
