Jamun features majorly in Indian weddings nowadays. So does Shikanji or even Rooh Afza? What the whaaaaat you say? Well, face it, people, we are done sipping wine spritzers and vodka on the rocks at our Sangeet dos and realised we can do flavours better than a bartender in Atlantic City. How you ask?By trying newer ideas at our bar - drinks infused with a dose of Indian flavours and ideas! After all, why pretend to sip Prosecco and do small talk when you can dunk down a Jamun-tini and do the bhangra? Without further ado, our favourite drink ideas for 2017, move over Pani puri shots.

Filter Coffee / Rasmalai Popsicles

We recently showcased a pretty interesting South Indian wedding and the food over there was amazing. But the star was the Filter Coffee / Rasmalai Popsicles that blew our mind - what a nice way to incorporate this tiny South-Indian addiction.

Tamarind  Punch Shots

I remember going to a certain pub in Mumbai and they said they have Tamarind shots.  Now, that's a revelation because tamarind is a whole new flavour and it's exciting.

Golas

Mpire Weddings★ 4.8

Golas have been there from day one at weddings, it's not new. What's new is how alcoholic they have become. Pick from chocolate-flavoured golas, Old Monk golas and the really effortless mango ones with vodka.  Kala khatta gola with vodka ranks high nowadays.

Shikanji and Other Masala Shots

Lime and Indians = explosive alcoholic ideas. So use them liberally. We heard coke, lime and masala is another favourite mocktail or even try a shot. Shikanji is most sought-after!

Drinks served in Bantas

You remember the old goli soda bottles we used to love as kids? Well, those are bantas and we saw them again at Farzi Cafe. Now, they're gonna be part of weddings to add some retro drama. Fill them with any cocktail and we're sure to love it!

Rooh Afza Drinks

Drowning in triple sec and vodka with a hint of lime, Rooh Afza is the Indian girl's Cosmo. Now that's what we want on our menu!
