Save the Date Videos- Updated

So Save the date pictures have been splashing around our facebook newsfeed every time another friend gets hitched, for a while now. But of late, Save the date wedding videos are a COMPLETE rage !!! And not just regular videos, the hottest thing at the moment is Stop Motion Save the date videos. Say what? They are basically millions of images clicked together quickly, and put together to make it look like a video (you know how those flipbooks were there when we were kids????) A waterbody always helps - A resort is a great place to film, all you need to do is book a room and you will be allowed to use the grounds in most cases, but taking prior permission does help - Ensure you get up early and shoot before 11:00 am when the sun starts to get terrible and the lighting becomes bad - Save the dates are all about being yourself, and being casual so don't dress up too much. A couple of nice dresses is all you need !! Script your save the date: - While your cinematographer would have ideas of their own, don't forget to browse youtube for fun save the date concepts. This is YOUR movie, it could be anything you want !! - A cute concept could be you finding letters around an area, and then bumping into your fiance who happens to carry the remaining letters to form your date ! -Also saw a super fun concept where the girl was carrying the 'date' (a sculpture showing the date) out for a walk, like it was her pet. The 'date' got lost and the fiance jumped in to 'save ' her date. So cute. - You could also just do literal translation of songs in the save the date. The song Auburn is a great example. A literal translation of the lyrics "You could be the peanut butter to my jellly, you could be the butterflies i feel in my belly" would be way cute How much would a save the date video cost Costs depend on how good your videographer really is, whether you want stop motion save the dates or no etc . Most cinematographers take between 40k- 80k for a save the date shoot (It may be 2 minutes, but takes 6 hours to shoot!).  However, some concepts like the animated ones can come for cheaper!
