Florals have been pretty much ruling the ramp for bridal wear in recent times, but of late we have been introduced to a fresh new trend we absolutely love.
Anju Modi introduced lehengas with motifs of carriages, birdcages and even castles all telling an English fairytale with exquisite detailing . We spotted Dragonflies by Tania o Conner and closer to home, weaving an Indian fairytale are lehengas with motifs of elephants and parrots.
Last year Anju Modi had the most exquisite detailing at India Couture Week 2014 . Thread , zari and sequin combined to tell the tale of horse-drawn carriages, ferns and flowers on a bridal lehenga
This year at Fashion week, Anju Modi went for a more oriental twist to her fairytale introducing chandelier, castle and swan motifs all of which looked stunning on rich red silk.
Ayinat by Tania o Conner put her own spin on dragonflies with these stunning pieces. That beautiful, glistening pink and gold outfit on the right- so lovely and the dragon motifs make it super unique!
