Give us anything that is light and bright and we love it for summer weddings! The weather is a bummer when it comes to the heat but it gives us an opportunity to bring out all those light, breezy, Yash-Chopra sarees and prints out of the closet. One such print that we saw trending currently is Bandhani.

While Bandhani is a traditional tie-dye textile, it’s popping back into fashion. The main colour used in Bandhana are yellow, red, blue, green and black – that’s why most of the bandhani prints you see are bright and poppy in colour. While we see most women and brides in Gujarati weddings sport their traditional bandhani sarees, we can see a lot more of bandhani being used in designer collections too!

Papa Dont Preach★ 4.7 recently launched a new collection which has the most killerrr bandhani high top boots in pink! So cool for a bohemian themed event for a wedding...

We are digging this high-waisted indigo leheriya skirt which would be perfect for a mehendi evening!

We also saw Arpita Mehta’s new collection show hints of lovely bandhani prints in her designs. Loving this parrot green bandhani AHIR embroidered kaftan clinched at the waist with the AHIR embroidered corset belt and cowrie shell detailing!

In the similar colour, we found this fun multi panel bandhani cape which would be such a versatile addition to any trousseau! And another cape outfit in blue…

If you are planning to go all out bandhani, then this pink bandhani bandeau blouse and cordinated gharara along with a kali cape is a fun outfit option too!

We also found this gorgeous bandhej dupatta that this bride sported on her wedding day. How amazing is this?
