So not all of us are lucky enough to have a forest wedding venue in the city we live in or travel to one for a back to nature sort of soiree. But if a rustic forest-themed wedding is what your heart desires, then you should know that it can be pulled off in the city too! This couple pulled off one of the best forest-themed weddings we have in the city, so there's loads of inspiration there as well!

Choose a green garden venue

Doesn't have to be in a forest, but a lot of resorts in the city have a gorgeous green cover where you can consider pulling this off. Make sure there are trees around for some added effect.

Make exaggerated hangings from trees around

Don't just leave them bare, include them and make them a part of the decor to add more warmth to the venue!

Keep it intimate and simple

This is how it will work well- keep the wedding intimate and close, which will allow everyone to really soak in the atmosphere around rather than creating a rush of people! You also need to keep the decor uncluttered and clean, without too many distracting elements!

Go more for green leafy plants rather than florals around the venue. Include flowers as well, but keep them subtle and do not let them overpower the green!
