This Wedding Had French Fries, Popcorns, Giant Pineapples & More!

It’s no secret that the country is battling hard with the second wave of  COVID-19 & the last thing people want to know right now is how to plan weddings. However, in these times of dispair when extreme stress cripples your mind, a little distraction definitely helps. Especially when it comes in the form of freshly-fried french fries, steaming hot popcorns & giant-sized pineapples, you just can't ignore.

Kinjal & Raj's wedding was a beautiful display of offbeat themes & gorgeous bridal outfits. Each ceremony had something unique to offer. Whether it was the quirky pool party or the traditional pheras, we could find something or the other to ogle at. So much so that we couldn't help but put down our favorite elements in this listicle. French Fries 

Who doesn't love french fries? It's one fingerlicious comfort food that is relished by almost everyone, from kids to elderlies. Hence, Kinjal & Raj added it to their Pool party menu. PS. We love how those fry holders with leafy prints & flamingo illustrations go in sync with the vibe of the ceremony.

Giant Pinapples

Another takeaway from their pool party were the Giant-sized pineapples that lent all sorts of tropical feels to their festivities. While some were beautifully incorporated in the entry walkway of the venue, others were picked to perk up the table settings.

Mini Popcorn Tubs

For their mela-themed mehendi, they had a dedicated popcorn station for the guests. We love how the popcorn tubs here were perfectly colour-coordinated with the decorations. PS. the quote on top acted as the perfect addition.

Mandap by the lakeside

Imagine tying the knot with your bae under a temple-like mandap which is surrounded by a lake from three sides. Seems surreal, right? Well, that's the kind of experience Kinjal and Raj got to experience during their pheras. Moreover the two even did a quick ganga aarti right before their pheras and embarked their new journey at a pious note.

Sand Art

What acted as the show-stopper of their wedding was their beautiful Sand Art that Kinjal and Raj unveiled on the day of their reception. Isn't it simply gorgeous?
