This Groom Wore A Padmaavat-Inspired Outfit For His Wedding!

Who doesn't love a bride who rocks pretty outfits at her wedding, especially those that are trend-setting and truly unique. This post talks about unconventional outfits too, but NOT on a bride! We came across this wedding where the groom's outfit caught our attention and we couldn't stop sharing the look with you! 

When searching for that perfect wedding outfit, we all look for inspiration. This groom found his in the Bollywood blockbuster 'Padmaavat'!

Shobit Chowdhry wanted a royal wedding, and decided to take it a notch higher by drawing inspiration for his wedding outfit from the movie. He wore a layered powder grey angrakha in combination with a tan-colored patka in handcrafted textures. 

This look was designed by the same designer-duo, Rimple and Harpreet Narula★ 4.8  who originally conceptualized the costumes of the lead characters in the film.

 Notice carefully and you will see that the outfit incorporated traditional embroidery stitches and block printing techniques and looked truly ancient and unique. 

We don't know if this is a new trend we are looking at. What do you think- is this look a hit or a miss?
