Yes, you read it right. You might think- What can Kim Kardashian have in common with an Indian wedding mandap? Well, we have seen so many mandaps over the years, but seriously nothing like this one! When you see it, you’ll know just what we are talking about. Imagine a mandap made up of over 2000 Swarovski crystals suspended from the roots of a tree- sounds stunning right? Just take a look at this beauty conceptualised and curated by Altair★ 5 decor!

Gorgeous, right? Imagine getting married under something so beautiful- we surely can’t get our eyes off it. And BTW, for reference, this is where the inspiration comes from- remember Kim Kardashian’s iconic Met Gala ‘dripping’ dress by Theirry Mugler?

Get the connection now? Quite an unlikely avenue for inspiration, right? We love how inspiration can come from anywhere, in this case from something so creative and unlikely. We love how Altair took inspiration from something so creative and made something so unique out of it.

This mandap was set up for Rhea and Avik’s gorgeous Jaipur wedding, and while we loved a lot of things about this wedding, this mandap definitely being one of them! The rest of the decor was breathtaking too!

From Altair★ 5 :

As a wedding design firm, ALTAIR is constantly evolving and developing a fresh narrative in the wedding landscape. We are strong believers of curating designs which are impactful and meaningful. The upside down tree of life is a testimony to the same. The beauty, uniqueness and opulence of crystals symbolises rhea, while the simpleness and uniqueness of a tree symbolises Avik. The mandap perfectly encapsulates both their personalities in a very subtle yet powerful manner. Adorning the tree with 2500 Swarovski crystals, delicately hung, the Altair s tree of life mandap also denotes roots of a new journey. Designed from our hearts, this mandap is a piece of art which symbolises the union of two beautiful souls.
