This Bride Recreated Bollywood Celebrity Bridal Outfits At Her Own Wedding And We Don't Know How To React!

In the last one year, we have seen so many celebrity weddings that we have literally lost count. (Just kidding, we haven't.) But you know what all these celeb weddings mean? Stunning looking Bollywood brides, new outfit/hair/makeup/jewelry/accessory/God-knows-what-all trends and the biggest B-town party that people like you and I attend via Instagram!
Zooming in-and-out on celebrity bridal pictures is part of our jobs. But we will not believe you if you told us that that's not something you did as part of your own 'wedding lehenga research' as well. Now if we ask you, what did you do with all that outfit research? Lost it with time? Tch tch tch.
When we first came across bride Anusha's photos on Instagram, we knew we were looking at something familiar. What is it? Being the true fan that she is, she recreated some of her favorite celebrities' looks at her own wedding functions and left us at a loss of words. Keep reading to know more!

Mehendi/Sangeet Look Inspired by Sonam Kapoor

Anusha wore an ivory Chikankari lehenga with hints of gold to match the Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla★ 4.6  masterpiece that Sonam wore! Taking all the inspiration that she could, she paired her look with a statement choker to let her outfit do the talking.

That's not all! How could this look be complete without Sonam's signature cross-cross floral braid! The most unique hairstyle we spotted, and the one that was consequently picked up by a lot of brides, there was nothing to not love about Sonam's unique hairstyle of mogra cross-crossing her bridal braid. Anusha made sure she incorporated this element to complete her look, too. And did she succeed?

Wedding Look Inspired By Deepika Padukone

Well well, the similarities are uncanny, aren't they?

Like her idol, Anusha was the quintessential north Indian bride for her wedding in a deep red lehenga with gold detailing. The one thing that really stood out was Deepika's bridal dupatta on her head with the customized Hindu chant 'Sada Saubhagyawati Bhawa' embroidered on it. While Anusha didn't sport a customized dupatta, she still chose one with a similar-looking broad border. Notice how she's draped her second dupatta like Deepika too!

Deepika wore some stunning polki jewelery to complete her bridal look and Anusha made sure she chose hers keeping the same designs in mind. Thus, we noticed, similar chunky chandelier earrings on her that truly completed her recreation!

Reception Look Inspired by #DeepVeer

Well, called one of her 'editorial' looks, Deepika sure grabbed all eyeballs with her reception look. Her look was all glam and gorgeous- and that's exactly what inspired Anusha to recreate it at her own reception.

Like Deepika, Anusha chose a heavily embellished mettalic gown in red hues. While of course Deepika set the mercury rising with her contemporary outfit and that thigh-high slit, our bride Anusha didnt go all out.

The couple made sure they not only recreated this iconic look, but also got pictures in similar poses as #DeepVeer. Well, if you are going to do it their way, you gotta do it all the way! What say?

Of course the iconic translucent veil had to be a part of her look! How well do you think Anusha carried off this mysterious look?

From The Bride:

“Like every other bride, we wanted (actually I wanted) to have the perfect wedding, the one that leaves everyone awestruck. You know, the kinds that become the talking point of the town (?) The last year has been all about Celeb Weddings, and like every soon-to-be bride, I keenly observed each one of our celebrity bride's looks, ready with my notepad, jotting down every detail that I loved and could imagine incorporating in my own wedding.
After seeing the paparazzi go crazy for #DeepVeer, #Nickyanka and Sonam & Anand's wedding, I was at a loss of words. Their outfits were legit out of the world; I bet you will not be able to name even one person who didn't want to wear them!
So, I picked up elements that I liked best from each of my favorite celebrities' looks and tried to recreate them at my own wedding.  The look I opted for my sangeet was inspired by Sonam's sangeet look, while for my wedding and reception looks, I sought inspiration from Deepika's stunning looks. Krutarth and I are both, huge #DeepVeer fans. So, the idea of getting to dress up like them for our reception got us really excited.  The wedding week has indeed been the happiest week we have had and we're going to cherish them, the experiments we did and the memories we made throughout our lives,” shares Anusha.
