Are you brainstorming about where to head to your bachelorette with your girls? Then how about Thailand? Not only is it beautiful, tourist-friendly and easily accessible, but can be made to be quite budget-friendly too! So we asked bride Angarika to tell us all about her bachelorette to Phuket with her gang, and she dished out a lot of details which can be super helpful!
The Trip & Itinerary...
We were 11 girls and planned a trip to Phuket as we all wanted a beach destination to party, relax and chill. We went for 5 nights 6 days and planned the trip 2 months in advance and 3 months before my wedding as this time was convenient for everyone to join in. We stayed at this resort called 'Crest Resort & Pool Villas' and totally loved the hotel. We had booked 2 villas with a private pool out of which one room eventually turned out to be a party room. So we didn't have an itinerary as such as we wanted to take it by the day. But we definitely researched about a few lounges and popular eateries that we could hang out at.
The Budget...
So, we all had an individual budget of INR 1.50 lacs including air tickets and we all ensured that all our bookings and expenditure fits in comfortably within this budget. We made sure we don't go over budget.
The Bachelorette...
My friends, together also planned a lot of surprises for me out of which one was decorating my room with my favourite things and they also planned an entire photoshoot for me at the hotel and beach as they all know my love for photos. They had also planned a dinner night for me as they know my love for Asian Food. The most fun thing the planned was booking a yacht with champagnes and wine and yummy food for us as a surprise which turned out to be an all day scene and we had a blast!! We also carried the same swimming costume color for one of our brunch parties.
PS: My husband surprised me more by sending a cake and a champagne directly to the hotel :)
The Props & Decorations...
So my friends planned all of this for me as I was the bride. They decorated my room and made me walk in to my surprise making me wear a tiara and my bachelorette sash. The whole room was in pink! The props were various things like a collage of me and my husband, Helium balloons, shot glasses, bachelorette t-shirts with captions for all of us, sunglasses, Accessories, some games, and bachelorette party sticks for decoration and lastly my favourite granola packets and chocolates from La Creme Chocolates in Juhu. They all were picked up from Bandra markets and ordered online.
The Favours...
I organised customised hats with all their names and robes in pink colour and their names printed and an invitation letter to each one of them to be my bridesmaid along with a shot glasses to begin the party. The hats and robes were from The Gift Opera - by Esha.
