If you have been a WedMeGood loyalist (of course you must be, sweets!), you would already know how our hearts warm up with stories of brides getting creative with their wedding preparations! From customized kaleere, to DIY decor, we have seen brides and grooms give their all to make their wedding a tad-bit more memorable! This morning when I reached office, another feel-good story was already waiting for me at my desk!
Here's introducing a bride who created her mehendi outfit herself! And the material used? An old saree!

Real bride Dayaneet Kaur looked every bit a chirpy bride at her mehendi celebrations in an outfit she had designed herself. She wore a quirky Benarasi brocade outfit in a melange of colors. But that wasn't the only thing keeping this bride at her feet! Dayaneet got this outfit made out of an old saree that her grandmother had owned! Talk about 'something old, something borrowed', with nothing but love! *Heart emoji*
Now we all know about upcycling, but the trend is only getting bigger! With everybody, from international celebrities at mega fashion events, to real brides closer home, a lot of people have now switched to sustainable fashion - using available resources to make something fresh and contemporary!
You can join the trend too! Use your old garments to make something interesting, and share your stories with us! We love it when we hear real brides tell us how they got creative at their wedding!
