Weddings are all about traditions, emotions, and stunning outfits, and Maharashtrian bridal looks are no exception! The charm, grace, and cultural richness in a Maharashtrian bridal look are simply amazing. From the beautiful saree to the unique nath, every detail has its own story. But when we saw this Maharashtrian bridal look, it took our breath away. Ananya and Amit’s wedding was a beautiful nuptial in Pune and the bridal look was simply gorgeous. Here are 7 things that we loved about this Maharashtrian bridal look!

An Unconventional Saree Colour

While yellow and green are the traditional colours for Maharashtrian brides, a lot of them now opt to wear other fun colours like plum sarees or even reds and pinks! But Ananya went a step ahead and outdid them all with a stunning champagne gold saree that was so stunning!

Hirva Chooda

Hirva chooda or green glass bangles is one of the most essential elements of a Maharashtrian bridal look. It signifies that the woman is married and they have to be worn in odd numbers. While most brides choose to go modern and mix it up with other designs, we love how Ananya stuck to the traditional glass bangles and stacked them up at the start and ended with gold and pearl ones!

Personalized Veil!

Veils are all the rage and we loved this personalised number. With names and the beautiful infinity sign embroidered, this veil was a beauty. Especially since she matched it with the saree instead of contrasting it, giving the attire a monotone look!

Gorgeous and Intricate Sispatti

Isn’t that sispatti simply stunning? Intricate and delicate jewellery pieces have our hearts and this sispatti is just that.

Open Hair With Curls

Brides who opt for veils usually go for a bridal bun, but this bride styled it with open hair with soft curls and we are here for it. It’s giving rizz and is absolutely glamorous.

Layering Vintage Jewellery With New

This one is so lovely – mixing and matching old gold jewellery pieces with more modernish pieces of the new. Maharashtrian bridal jewellery has its own charm and this kolhapuri saaz that she is wearing is a vintage design. Pairing that with polki and Kundan pieces gives it such a unique look.

Minimal Mangalsutra

Nothing like a minimal diamond mangal sutra to kick off your happily married life!
