These Are The Most Unique Dupatta Drapes We Have Ever Seen On Brides!

By now, when someone says 'unique dupatta drape', we roll our eyes a bit because we have kind of seen everything possible in that arena. BUT all the time spent crushing over the new collection of Tarun Tahiliani has not gone to waste. We discovered some new trends, ogled at some great work and discovered whole new draping styles. By far, Tarun's collection had the most interesting draping techniques that not only made the collection amazing but took it to another level by trying offbeat ideas. A look at the ones we loved from his Couture Week 2016 Collection! His red collection that's more on the traditional side had great draping styles - from wrapping it around the upper body like a shawl to wearing like a dupatta or even tying the dupatta around the waist with beautiful pleating on the side - there was os much awesomeness! Gujarati style drapes were also popular with the sheer ones giving the blouse and the lehenga an extra layer! The front U shaped drape was further accentuated with a sparkly waist  belt.   We especially liked the fact that dupattas were used to add more volume to your lehenga, use two or three to drape it two ways and pleat them up to show a great silhouette. This time, as usual, his collection went old-school so sheer dupattas with Swarovski edges were used to cover the head, so chic! He even used the techniques from old school sari draping from the south - so his brocade dupattas were tied up to the waist and wrapped around.
