  • Announce the news to your family and friends

Pick up the phone and call your relatives and friends to give them the most shocking news and get ready to witness some epic reactions.

  • Make a tentative guest list

Now that you’ve disclosed the news, it’s time for all you grooms to make a list of close friends and family that you know for sure are going to be invited for your wedding so that you have an approximate number to decide on other things as well.

  • Decide on a location

Once you have an idea of the number of people attending the wedding, choose a location accordingly. If you wish for a destination wedding, pick your options and visit them well in advance because fancy places book out fast or are too expensive later on.

  • Choose your groomsmen

Organize who your groomsmen will be! Just like bridesmaids, you need your tribe for the shaadi vibe. Distribute them some work so that you aren't the only one taking up all the pressure and spend enough 'bachelor' time with them.

  • Book your vendors

This is the most mind-wrecking task but once done perfectly, this is that one thing which will make your wedding memorable. Book the talent - the musicians, priest, caterers, the baker, decorators and also finalize your wedding giveaways and stationery.

Also, do not forget the hair stylists and make-up artists for your relatives, the bride, and your own self.

  • Finalize the guest-list

Make a final count of who you want to invite and who you don't. Sit with both sides of the family and make a guest-list in accordance with the size of the hall you are booking.

PS - Save yourself from the embarrassment of not knowing your guests, invite only those who you know and think are important! :P

  • Tickets and Transportations

As flight tickets tend to be cheaper a few months before, make sure you inform your guests to book their transportations well in advance to avoid getting last minute expensive tickets.

  • Book your honeymoon

A romantic European honeymoon or a relaxed Greece getaway? This is the time you finalize your honeymoon destination and start booking for the same to avoid expensive deals in the last months. Also, make sure both your passports and visa requirements are fulfilled well in advance.

  • Start the wedding and jewelry shopping

This is the right time that we suggest you start with the outfit and the jewelry shopping - engagement rings to gold for the bride. Cities like Jaipur, Surat, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Delhi have great wedding couture designers. If you are planning to visit these cities, plan your shopping trip now.

  • Make hair and facial appointments

It’s important that you get the proper amount of pampering before your wedding day. Book salon appointments for your hair and skin so that they glow, shine and remain healthy!

  • Alter your outfits the right size

After all the stress and running around for months, we are sure you would have lost a lot of weight and we don’t want you to wear inappropriate sized clothes. Hence, check all your outfits and make sure there are no problems or any alterations needed.

  • Assign wedding day tasks to your friends and family

On your day, we don’t want you running around in that prim hairstyle and sharp clothes behind vendors, hence assign those tasks to your family members and friends beforehand so that you are relaxed.

  • Confirm transportation arrangements

Confirm where your relatives are coming from and their arrival schedule. Arrange a pick-up and drop service for them to feel honored and special.

  • Spend time with your family and friends

It is your last day as a bachelor! Give time to your family and your friends. Go out for lunch with them or have a good get together at your house to cherish those last bachelorhood moments.

  • Relax and have a good sleep

This is your chance to get that beauty sleep that you need before all the wedding functions start. Make sure you utilize the most of it!
