Know the time the sun will set So by now we all have figured that day photos look way more awesome than night ones, so know what time the sun will set to schedule your functions accordingly, so that your photographer can get the best of sunlight. Knowing the average temperature for that day Everyone likes a pretty day wedding, but not when it is scorching! You might have researched and know that its pleasant during that season, but don't forget to check the weather forecast for the day- if it is going to be scorching, you might have to make alternate arrangements for the guests to get some shade or cold air. Alternatively, if there is a cold wave, you might need to get heaters or angithis. A rain check! It could rain anytime these days and in any city! So if you do have an outdoor wedding, this is something very very important. Getting a forecast of the day and keeping a back up plan ready in case of rain can save your wedding! Cross-check arrangements for the bridal party Forgetting to arrange pick ups from the hotel for the guests if the wedding is somewhere else is something that can slip the mind pretty easily. So put someone on the job to cross-check the arrangements. Having designated 'transportating managers' really helps! Ensuring enough lighting Indian weddings get late or delayed all the time, so if day pheras can always stretch to sunset time. Keep lighting options for backup just in case that happens, because none of you guys- you or your close family members will be able to any running around once the pheras start. Designate this duty to some of your friends/cousins. Comfortable seating for aged people Again, something that easily that slips our mind. Our grandparents and other aged guests might not be able to sit on low seating comfortabley without back rest for a long time, so make sure there are comfortable seating options for them, even for some of them to stretch their legs if possible. A 'photo wrangler' for the photographer You and your guy might be the only ones who've spoken to the photographer and despite your best briefing your photographer might not remember everyone in your family- so give him/her the contact of a designated friend/cousin to contact for all doubts and timings- so that its easier for both of you can you get the best pics possible!

Pens for notes, guestbooks and wishing trees You might have brilliant ideas for your guests to leave a thought behind for you guys, but don't forget to leave pens for them as well! It's something small, but it happens more often than you can imagine! Making proper arrangements onstage to keep gifts and envelopes safe This is something so many couples forget! Eventually what ends up happening is that you have a safeguarding aunty next to you on the stage who's in all the photos! Make sure to have a proper plan in place to stack those money-filled envelopes 'cz more often than not they go missing on weddings! Ask your overtime options Some vendors are rude enough to create a fuss if the party is running overtime- yes, it does happen sometimes. So make sure to discuss your overtime options clearly before hand. Ask the charges and make it clear to them that you will pay up if it does longer than expected. Meals for vendors Don't forget the people who're working hard to make your wedding what it is! It won't really cost you much to fund their food too!

And lastly, don't forget to eat! We know food is the last thing on your mind! Couples hardly ever eat at their own wedding! Don't forget to snack on things once in a while or eat a proper meal- after all, you will need the energy for what comes after! ;) So, all set now?
