That seems like a lot of work to do, but don't let it bog you down- it's a 12-month checklist, so that's a whole year of planning, and it's quite spread out. Stick to this, especially if you're planning you're own wedding, and we are 90% sure that you will be right on track! Here are a few more pointers to keep in mind:

• If you don't have the luxury of a year of planning, then just speed up the process, but working in this order will help- getting the date and the venue should be priority then and everything else can follow.
• Prioritising and delegating really helps. Don't be shy to ask for help and offload a couple of things to your near and dear ones who are willing to help.
• Keep a separate notebook or journal with all your wedding related stuff in it. Helps keep all the planning sorted and organised.
• Have another person apart from both of you involved in the wedding planning as well if you don't have a planner. Could be a parent, sibling or your bestie, who knows your vision and the vendors involved. This will be very handy during the wedding.
• Keep a list of vendors as and when you keep finalising them, and mention everything in one place- the price agreed upon, the advance payment made, the mode of payment, cheque no. etc.
• On the day of the wedding, hand someone the whole list of vendors involved along with their phone numbers to someone trusted so that they can keep a track in case there's a doubt or something goes wrong without disturbing you unless very urgent.
• Keep enough cash with you on the wedding day to pay up vendors after the wedding is over, or tie up some other mode with them beforehand. You don't want to be heading to the ATM last minute to withdraw.
