"Avi and I got to know each other through some common family friends, but it was just talking on the phone and texting each other until six months down the line where we realised we were right for each other and got engaged. Actually the day of our engagement was the first time we saw each other in person and it was weird and awesome at the same time."

From The Bride: "We spent almost a month together and me and my husband figured out our wedding attires together. I am all for bright clothes, love all the oranges, yellows, reds and all kinds of butis but I always knew pink was my winner, so I wore it on my wedding day. For the decor  - I always wanted a royal elegant and  classy feel about it without losing the traditional touch of a Telugu wedding. So I knew the right person to go to for this to become a reality and that was Minttu Sarna. He understood what I wanted and we sat down and zeroed in on the decor. It was all pink white and gold with chandeliers, baitaks and flowers everywhere, was exactly the way I pictured my wedding to be like. We chose the music to with the decor and it was this amazing band called Temple Rock, it was Carnatic jazz fusion, everyone loved it." she says. "The next big thing is the makeup which usually is the important part of the day coz the bride has to look her best and I chose Tamanna to do my makeup. She was the first person I called once the wedding dates were finalised because I was so sure that she was gonna make me look beautiful. I was too happy," she adds.
