Sunny Goa Wedding With Oodles of Fun By The Pool!

When you hear the words Goa and Wedding in one go, you are bound to have ideas of fun, grandeur and waters. Exactly like we envisioned, this Goa wedding is all smiles and sunshine with fun chalkboard placards and nice marigold-y swings. We love the Gota jewellery on the mehendi, the bridal entry on a rickshaw and so was seeing the groom rock a floral headband at the Mehendi. "Adhish and I met in 2011 November in Delhi through some common friends. At the time, Adhish was doing his initial training with Jet Airways as a pilot in Delhi and I am an MBA Professional. So, we used to meet often and that's where we clicked. Since then our relationship has grown and matured, we have learnt patience through each other and learnt how to trust" says Nupur.

"We chose La Cabana Beach and Spa in Ashwem, Goa as our wedding venue. This venue was perfect for us as we both are from different cities and had relatives and friends coming from all over the country. Another major factor for doing a destination wedding was to call only our close friends and relatives and have a small private affair. La Cabana served this purpose as it is located on a secluded and serene beach in north Goa" says Nupur.

"The wedding festivities started off with a pool party with a very colourful theme and a casual dress code. Right after the pool party we had a Sangeet/ Engagement ceremony where our cousins and friends entertained us with their dance performances. The decor had a lot of yellow lights and lit-up candles.

The next day we started off with the Indian wedding pheras with the dress code of light ethnic wear and a theme decor of pink and orange drapes matching my lehnga colour palette. And then we had a Christian wedding ceremony in the evening with a dress code of formal western wear followed by a reception" adds Nupur.
