Sunny Goa Wedding With Lots Of Bright Hues!

It's just made of so many colours, this wedding. Right from the bright hues at the Mehendi with a whole lotta fuchsia to soft pastels on the wedding day . Meet Chirasmita & Arjun

"We got to know each other when we were doing B-school at Narsee Monjee in 2008 and even though I dropped out of that B-school, we kept in touch for a few years. Even then, I felt this strange connect with her and had very strong feelings for her for the longest time but nothing ever really materialised because we were in different cities. Then when i moved back to Mumbai in 2013, we re-connected and soon started dating, and one thing led to another, and we have been going strong ever since" says Arjun.

  From The Bride: "Basically, we just wanted to have a crazy party with close friends and family for a couple of days without the normal expectations and traditions which go along with a conventional wedding. And that is exactly what we did, which is why we chose to have a beach wedding in Goa, because we  could think of no better destination within India which would provide for such a setting," says Chirasmita. "I was very clear about being a minimalistic modern bride. I chose to go traditional for the  wedding pheras by wearing a lehenga but opted for a light peach rather than the traditional red (in keeping with our sunset beach wedding theme). For the Mehendi and Reception, I wore outfits that were a perfect fusion between modernity and tradition . For our cocktail night , I decided to go western by wearing a gown with a hint of ethnic design. I also ensured that my cocktail and reception outfits were super comfortable to dance long hours in :)" adds Chirasmita.
