|
With the sweltering heat that we've started experiencing, this wedding literally feels like a refreshing, cooling drink! Everything about this wedding was minimal, but it all worked together so beautifully, creating a fresh, pretty palette. Prerna and Yash had their dream wedding in Jim Corbett after knowing each other for a decade, and their wedding was simple, with a dash of elegance. From the minimal decor to the bride's fresh ice blue lehenga, this was a modern wedding in the truest sense. Take a look.
Meet Prerna and Yash
Our Journey from Long Distance to Forever.
I find myself reflecting on the beautiful twists of fate that brought us into each other's lives. Ten years ago, on 29th of September, our story began, all thanks to Yash's school friend and now, my BEST friend whose matchmaking prowess we'll forever be grateful for. Our journey was no ordinary one; it was woven with the threads of long-distance love that spanned five years, until we were finally in the same city, Delhi.

From The Bride
Our wedding took place on February 18, 2024. Nestled amidst the serene beauty of Jim Corbett, we embarked on a journey to create memories that would last a lifetime.
The festivities commenced with a grand pre-wedding gala, followed by the Mehendi ceremony, pink themed Haldi ceremony, Sangeet and engagement night, and the wedding ceremony. We chose minimal decor, allowing the natural beauty of our surroundings to take center stage, while our unique choice of colors for our wedding attire added a touch of individuality and flair to the festivity. For the wedding ceremony, I wore a lehenga with pearl and sequin embellishments in ice blue colour and paired it with an American Diamond set.
And as we exchanged vows beneath the vast expanse of the open sky, hand in hand, hearts full of love and gratitude, we knew that our wedding was everything we had dreamed of and more—a week filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories that would forever hold a special place in our hearts.
We spared no chance to remind the grooms of his vows. Our Signage Board, carefully curated by the bride and the saalis was in their best interests. The signage board added a fun twist to the groom's entry, and a big laugh on the baraatis.
