Stylish, kitsch Delhi wedding with a greek vibe

When the uber-stylish bride works at Harpers Bazaar Bride, you can be rest assured that her wedding is going to be anything but 'run of the mill' . THAT is evident in every little detail of this wedding - from the offbeat but  absolutely spectacular Manish Arora bridal outfit (which lets admit not everyone can pull off), to the bridal entry on a motorbike and the relaxed blue and white mediterranean theme in the cards and the decor - this one pushes the envelope in the best way possible .

Meet Aastha & Kapil

In Aastha's words : "A very special friend of mine and his introduced us more than two years back. We started dating when I went to London to visit my sister for a month. We dated for about a year and a half before we decided to tie the knot, and then I moved to London"

Entry on a motorbike with her close friend ! Favourite entry idea so far !

Reception

From the bride: I wanted the theme for my wedding to be mediterranean and close to a greek style.  Mostly all white with turquoise and green accents. I envisioned only white flowers all around. Plush tulips, old jars and little lanterns. Dim lighting and candles is all I wanted for light during the event.

For myself I wanted to dress like no Indian bride has ever dressed. I wanted to set a trend of the new modern bride being inspired by the magazine I was working for Harper’s Bazaar Bride . For this reason I got to wear Manish Arora Indian Couture who is my absolute favourite designer and the most eccentric artist I know of. PS: Aastha also is a fashion blogger at Fashion left field  . Venue: Sanskriti Greens   Makeup : Aradhana   | Mehendi : Sriniwasan Brides outfit: Manish Arora for wedding, Sabyasachi for Reception  Grooms outfit: Sabyasachi | Photography: Bhumi and Simran  |  Decor: Designed by Akrant and Shalini Vachita (asdesignstudio@hotmail.com)  Execution by Bhola Tent House | Invitations by Akrant and Shalini Vachitra  (asdesignstudio@hotmail.com) [handbook] [vendor]
