When a bride goes out of her way to add glamour to her look, you just lap it up. Like us, who found Saloni's Alibaug wedding a delight to watch. From her powder blue lehenga for the Mehendi to the woven Benarasi Sabyasachi sari for the wedding, from her green Sangeet lehenga to her purple-blue Anarkali at the brunch - there's so much variety in her bridal wardrobe. While the venue, Radisson Blu Resort & Spa made sure each event looked super glam, the photographers, The Wedding Salad★ 4.9  kept the look minimal and candid.

 Meet Saloni & Prasad

" Prasad and I are childhood sweethearts. We met 11 years back during Navratri and instantly hit it off," says Saloni.

From The Bride:

"We wanted all our friends and family to have the time of their lives with all the events being as relaxed and fun-filled as possible with lots of music and dancing. Most of our family is from Mumbai so we decided to have an intimate wedding away from the city hustle at the very scenic Radisson Blu Resort and Spa. Being a control freak, I was pretty much involved in the minutest of details. My favorite wedding memory/ moment has to be the time I walked to the mandap. We had the most stunning floral mandap, traditional flute playing in the background. We couldn’t have asked for a dreamier set-up!

After searching for months for properties around Mumbai we zeroed on the stunning Radisson Blu Resort & Spa property in Alibaug. We wanted to have a unique venue for each function and the property has several gorgeous ones to choose from. All our functions were at different locations and every time, our guests were surprised. Another of my favorite vendors was my The Lipstick Diary by Pooja Lalwani. She is absolutely incredible. I am a complete no makeup person and she managed to keep all my looks true to my style yet impactful. She literally did my makeup under 30 mins for the wedding ceremony and I couldn’t have been happier.

As for my photographer, choosing The Wedding Salad as our photographer was probably the easiest decision!  I have been following their work thanks to Wedmegood for quite some time. Prasad and I are very camera conscious and shy and so the team just made us feel extremely comfortable. The pictures speak for themselves!

Along with the room hampers for the guests, we had kept a small pouch of Tulsi seeds with a note in the memory of Prasad’s father who recently passed away. We requested all the guests to plant these seeds in their home in his memory! We had a traditional Maharashtrian sit-down lunch post the wedding with beautiful floral décor and a unique arrangement for the bride and groom seating. We also had the most stunning varmalas!
