"Big clothing labels is not really my thing" quips this bride, but looking at her glamorous outfits we probably would have thought otherwise.  With fabulous makeup by Shalini Singh Delhi and beautiful outfits from Mumbai, this long distance love story had a 'happily ever after' in Dubai.

Meet Priyanka and Rohit

Priyanka recounts "We met 7 years back in Mumbai through a common friend and it was a casual lunch after which we both went back to our respective countries. He then added me on Facebook and we spent the whole year after that Facebooking, skyping, messaging each other and getting to know each other from miles away.Once Rohit graduated he decided to move back to Dubai and start working towards a future together. It's amazing how we built a future together while sitting so far away "

Wedding

Reception

From the bride:  Together with our families we decided that Dubai would be the best place to get married as this is home for both of us. We both wanted to create themes that match our personality. We both wanted all 3 functions to be different and came up with 3 concepts – For Sangeet we went with Carnival of Love. We had people on stilts, Brazilian dancers , face painting and so much more happening to give a Carnival feeling (Great idea we think!) Our Wedding day was truly special. We kept it simple and decided to go with Pastel colors and fresh flowers. After the wedding Nitin Mukesh took us all through a musical journey across the golden era. Since I am such a fairy tale princess kind of girl, I came up with the concept of the Reception night and we called it the “Happily Ever After” Party. All white décor and a chariot for me to enter with my Prince was put together. None of this would have been possible without my brother Pankaj, who  worked with our wedding planner Prabath from Al Mahad Wedding Services to bring all these concepts to life. I just loved my look for all 3 days and this was thanks to my clothing designer, Jay Makhija and my hair and makeup artist, Shalini Singh. Each day I looked different than the other and it is just impossible to choose a favorite look as they all were just as I had always imagined to look like at my wedding. My aim was to look my age and not over do anything. Big clothing labels is not really my thing and I wanted to keep it simple in that sense.
