Sophie Turner At Priyanka's Wedding Is Exactly How I Want My Bridesmaids To Dress Up At My Own!

GUYS, my best friend is getting married! And lately, all I see are things that I want and ideas that I can use at her wedding! And the latest addition to my what seems like a never-ending list, is bridesmaids dresses. Of course I want my best friend to shine at her wedding, but I want to be right by her side- slaying!
This past week with one celebrity wedding after the other has given me loads of ideas. And I'll be sharing them with you, one after the other. For today, lets just talk about Sophie 'head' Turner and her desi avatar at Priyanka and Nick's wedding! She sure turned quite a few heads with her gorgeous choice of outfits in stunning colors and prints. Her dressing style has given me tons of inspiration for my own personal bridesmaids' style. So, here's taking a closer look at Sophie's choice:
Pastel Hues For The Reception
For Priyanka & Nick's Delhi reception, Sophie chose a Sabyasachi ensemble. She wore an embellished pastel bronze lehenga with a shimmery border and sequins, and a simple blouse. She completed her look with contrasting jewellery- a sleek emerald choker, and subtle makeup with heavy curls. We absolutely loved the tinge of peach in her outfit, which complimented her complexion perfectly! Oh, and those contours!
Why We Heart It: Her outfit was just the right amount of bling to make turns head and yet subtle to not compete with the bride's outfit!
A Shimmery Gold Lehenga For The Hindu Wedding
For the Hindu wedding, she wore a shimmer lehenga in metallic gold with a matching choli. The lehenga skirt was heavily embellished with floral motifs all over it. Sophie completed her look with a chunky raani haar.
Why We Heart It: Given that she wore a lehenga with heavy work, we loved how she restricted her jewellery to just a rani haar, and nothing else!
Peachy Satin Gown For The Civil Ceremony
Sophie Turner was one of the bridesmaids for Priyanka & Nick's civil ceremony. All the bridesmaids were dressed in a satin peach gown. Sophie paired it with a tulle shrug and the customary bouquet. Sophie kept her look subtle for this day function, without any jewellery.
Why We Heart It: We love the subtle color, perfectly coordinating with the decor of the ceremony.
Sangeet In Cherry Red
Sophie danced her way on the stage and into our hearts in this cherry red and creme brocade lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla that we really liked! The color was perfectly complimenting her complexion, ah!
Why We Heart It: The lehenga didn't weigh as heavy as it looked, making it easy and comfortable for Sophie to carry and dance in. The ease of movement is what we loved the most about this one!
Emerald Green For The Mehendi
Green is never going out of style for the mehendi, and that's exactly what we learnt from Sophie's style at the ceremony! We absolutely loved the warm hues of her emerald green lehenga by Anita Dongre. Sophie completed her look with nude makeup and heavy earrings, that left us wanting for more!
Why We Heart It: We loved that she didn't choose the usual shade of green and instead went with a deeper, warmer tone!
A Red -Gold Kurta & Palazo Set For The Puja At Home
Sophie took everyone by surprise with her first appearance in Indian outfits for the Greha Shanti Puja at Priyanka's home in Mumbai, ahead of the wedding festivities. She wore a red kurta with floral motifs in gold, with a golden palazo and a bright mustard dupatta! The looks was just right for a smaller, at-home function, and looked utterly chic and comfortable!
Why We Heart It: This kurta-palazo set looked breezy and comfortable, in bright hues- just forget for any small function ahead of the wedding week.
So, which of her outfits did you like the most?
