Something Blue & Old: This Bride Wore A Pre Loved Pant Suit With A Dupatta On Her Wedding!

We love brides who break the mould and go beyond just 'offbeat'- and here is a bride who did that and how! Entrepreneur and bride Sanjana Rishi sported a look like we haven't seen before on an Indian bride atleast- wearing a pant suit with a dupatta! And while she was at it, she checked the boxes for 'Something Blue, Something Old and Something Borrowed' with her pick- and we love how she chose to reuse and recycle her wedding outfit.
Yep- that's Sanjana's bridal look, pretty edgy, right? An avid recycler and not conforming to fit into a mould, she chose this pre-owned Gianfranco Ferré powder blue pantsuit, which she paired with a scalloped edge dupatta by Torani , a maangtikka, some layered necklaces and hooped earrings. Her makeup was done to perfect by Jasmeet Kapany Hair and Makeup
From the Bride:
Unprecedented vibes! Who says bridal looks have to fit a mould, cultural or otherwise? The only thing a look must fit (other than your body) is your personality! I wanted to choose a wedding outfit that encapsulated my style but also stayed true to my commitment to supporting sustainability, local artisans and ethical shopping. I think I did great! Something old: These earrings I stole from @salonikotwal & @_rangana. Something new: My stunning jewelry, put together by @anumerton and talented artisans in basically 4 days & this custom made-to-order #veilpatta by @toraniofficial.
Something borrowed: My bustier, which belonged to my best friends’ (@instagirma + @stop_youplay2much) mom, hand dyed by a frantic me the night before the wedding using old coffee. Something blue: The beyond gorgeous Pre-owned #GianfrancoFerre powder blue pantsuit of my dreams. I’m never going to get over how I look and feel in this outfit!
