Sister Of The Groom: Mehak

My number 1 criteria while shopping for my brothers wedding- were to get outfits that I could reuse ! I had far too many over embellished outfits at the back of my closet and I wanted to pick up pieces that looked heavy and appropriate but didn't have a ton of weight and could be dressed up/ down. I hired Wedsta Family Makeup services to do my makeup on both days and they did a fabulous job!
The Haldi
For the haldi, I actually had a dhoti saree which was in my closet but hadn't been worn. The myriad of colours were perfect for haldi. I bought silver jewellery from a couple of online stores and it made for a different look.
The Cocktail
For the cocktail I opted for an indo-fusion outfit from Niharika Kamani . I wanted something fun,and different but still comfortable to dance in. Plus, it was freezing so the full sleeves were much needed.I bought it from Aza , using my Mynt by WedMeGood card and scored a good discount!
The Wedding
For the wedding, I opted for a red Ikat lehenga with a sea green dupatta from QBIK . I chose to wear a belt and keep the dupatta tied up so that I was comfortable and free to move around, take care of my toddler and dance my heart out!
