Sister Of The Bride Style: Meet Ishita!

|
When we saw Ishita’s stunning pink custom made Anamika Khanna lehenga for her sister’s wedding, we fell in love with her look! While we checked out her other looks, we saw that she was kicking up a glam storm in her all of her pretty outfits. Here's a look at her wedding wardrobe which was so glam! We asked her a few questions about her personal style and her enviable outfits and here are the complete deets!
Meet Ishita
Look 1: Family Shoot
For the family shoot, I picked this fun mustard maxi from Zara and left my hair loose for a casual look!
Look 2: Beach Sundowner
The theme was beach glam so I wanted to go for a very tan/bronze look with my makeup, along with long beach waves to make it seem like it was summer time. I wore a blue bikini top and styled it with a grey/silver dhoti by Ritu Seksaria Bridal Wear for an indo-western beach look, modest yet fun.
Look 3 - Haldi
Since my mum is a Rajput, my sister and I wanted to dress ourselves in a Poshak, which is a traditional Rajput outfit so we picked this Mangalmayee by Sandeep Burad outfit and styled them with Louis Vuitton shades!
Look 4 - Mehendi
To go with the theme of the Mehendi, which was vibrant Indian, I thought wearing the personalised Anamika Khanna in bright pink would be super fun and young, and would be a statement piece as well. I went for a very Arabic inspired makeup look, with smokey eyes.
Look 5 - Sangeet
For the sangeet, I wore a full gold lehenga by Manish Malhotra because it would definitely make a statement. My sister wore silver, however despite the contrast in the colours of our outfits, the silver and gold colour combination really helped us tie our looks to one another.
Look 6 - Wedding
Since the wedding is a traditional affair, I wore a light gold lehenga by Manish Malhotra to complement the colours of my sister’s wedding lehenga as I was sitting beside her on the mandap.
