Sometimes, simplicity is everything. Like in this wedding where the Harleen' minimalist yellow lehenga and traditional jewellery coupled with oodles of marigold decor add charm to her household garden when she tied the knot . Hmmmm, intimate weddings at home are looking like the trend du jour ( must investigate!). Meanwhile you guys enjoy this pretty wedding photographed by Karan Sidhu Photography
From The Bride:
"The idea behind this wedding was to be simple, elegant and understated. We had a lot of traditional aspects in this modern day wedding since our family is very traditional. The use of the marigold was abundant and much-needed. We also had to work with what was available in the season, since the wedding took place in April. It was a Baisakhi wedding and that was the theme (understated though) behind the whole wedding" explains Harleen.
"As far as my outfits were concerned, personally I am not someone who dresses up too much, so all my outfits had to be comfortable and easy to move around in. At the Sangeet I wore a phulkari saree which I bought in Patiala. For my Mehndi and Chuda, I wore my mothers Doli suit. At the wedding, I wore a yellow customised outfit by Ayinat" adds Harleen.
