Meet Shefali. An effeverscent  delhi girl , a recent bride and a vision in pink and orange . She likes to keep things subtle, simple and elegant and her wedding trousseau was no different!

Hi Shefali ! Tell us about how you two met..

We met through family friends, and hit it off instantly . From long phone calls to even longer discussions over whatsapp , it eventually led to him being down on one knee and proposing to me. The rest as they say is history

Love this gorgeous saffron sari with the gold border and pink edging. SO pretty!

Tell us about the events in your wedding We had an engagement in The Palms Country Club, Gurgaon. This was followed by Cocktail in Tivoli Gardens, Mehendi at Home and Wedding in Pullman Central Hotel ! Since the engagement was the first function I would say that was the most fun as it really kicked off the festivities! With a super organised mom and a sister best friend there was no need for a wedding planner. They handles it all with ease !

Where did you shop from all your outfits from?

For my engagement I got a peach net sari from Meena Bazaar with a  dull gold shimmery blouse. The sari had bits of gold shimmer in it and a hot pink edging. For the cocktail again  I wore a beige lace sari from Meena Bazaar (Clearly, she is a loyalist) . For the wedding I wore an orange and pink lehenga from Karol Bagh Sari House. Needless to say im a Meena Bazaar fan and did my entire trousseau shopping from there.I like it simple and elegant and thats where i get my taste. It took me 15 minutes precisely to purchase my wedding lehenga, it was the first piece i saw and fell in love with it instantly.

I love your subtle makeup. Names please
I booked Madonna, Galleria in Gurgaon for my makeup. The 2 people i have been going to for years and my most trusted ones :). Radha and Sushant...absolutely brilliant!. they get my taste...simple and subtle.
What about Wedding Invitations?
We went in for a personalized/fun card with "save the date" as the key words...a friend did a creative pre wedding photo shoot for us. We posed with a plac-card and it turned out unique and personalised ! If you have a friend who is good with a DSLR, rope them in to have a DIY save the date!
Doesnt that save the date make you go "Awww". Super cute you guys !
