So everyone plans at length about your getting-ready routine on the morning of your wedding; your hairstyle, your make-up, (your killer pre-wedding playlist!) But what about your beauty regime in the months and weeks leading up to your wedding? The reason many brides look so blushing, polished and utterly gorgeous, on their wedding day, is not just because they’re high on love and Champagne (though that certainly helps!) it’s because their beauty prep began long before the invitations went out. We asked few of our brides what is that one beauty tip that they would give other brides.

Esha Surte – Home Made Beauty Mask

Get on to follow a healthy skin care regime a good 3-4 months before your D-day. You need not necessarily go in for all the exorbitantly priced pre-bridal services at the salon. You can work wonders with natural ingredients available on your kitchen shelf that you can use to make homemade face packs. The one below works very well for all skin types and gives an instant glow. Golden Glow Mask  Gram flour - 2 tbsp  Sandalwood Powder - 1 tbsp  Turmeric - 1 tsp  Honey - 1 tbsp  Lemon juice - 1 tbsp  Rose water - 2 tbsp  Mix all these ingredients together  Apply this smooth paste evenly on your face and neck.  Keep it for 20 mins and wash off with cold water.

Sharayu - Start at 2 Months To Go

From personal experience - you might have certain things in mind, which you want at your wedding, you want to control each and every minute detail at your wedding but in that process you end up stressing too much and not enjoying your own wedding so let go delegate and enjoy it! Happens only once. Whatever skin care regimes you undertake start them 2 months in advance to till your wedding date your skin is at its peak. That is when the regime is giving you max results and that’s the sweet spot you want to hit!

Mehak Sagar- Tomato for Tan Removal

I came back from my bachelorette trip to Goa pretty tanned and with just a month to go to the wedding,  My mom was horrified. Rubbing tomato on my face daily (It was ick I know!) , helped SO much. I lieterally saw my tan go away in 4 days flat. It's my go -to beauty tip for all brides to be

Shruti Rambhia – Dry Body Brushing

Don’t forget your body! You want to be glowing from head to toe on the big day, and this starts in the shower. Dry body brushing is an amazing way to see a huge change in your skin. It gets blood flow going, helps with cellulite and works on pesky bumpy skin. Use a scrub in the shower every other day and moisturise and soon as you get out of the shower, while your skin is still damp, to help lock in moisture.

 Priyanka Doshi – Sleep Well

We girls dream about our perfect wedding since childhood, so you always want everything perfect. But in the end it doesn't matter. Enjoy the company of friends and family and you are surely going to rock your wedding! I know its hard with all the jitters but a good nights sleep routine before the wedding is a must. You don’t want to end up looking like a tired bride! And most of all keep smiling a happy bride makes a happy wedding!

Gieselle Franchesca Pereira – Ice Facials

One of the most important tips that I learnt and actually benefited from my experience was cooling my facial skin. Having a May wedding in Mumbai has to be the scariest thing but I managed pretty well by applying ice cubes daily on my face, under eyes and lips entire one month before my wedding day. Another very useful tip is to collect milk cream after its boiled and apply it daily on your hands legs and face just before bathing. In a city like Mumbai where pollution and dust constantly surrounds us this technique ensure that your skin remains super smooth and plump like a baby.
Remember to make the final day worth it for yourself more than anyone else!
