Pretty Pastel Palace Wedding Which Embraces Elegant Minimalism
|
|
It's 2024, and looks like minimalism when it comes to bridal looks, is still very much in. Brides are loving the whole ivory/ pastel bridal look, which does look ethereal, pairing it with jewellery that's understated and elegant. And here is one such bride who kept her bridal look subtle, but still pretty effective. Dipali rocked some inspirational bridal looks, and we loved the vibe of the palace wedding, which was classy with regality. The couple incorporated some cute little ideas and details, and the captures by Peeper Photography & Films are beautiful to say the least!

Wedding
From The Bride
Our wedding took place on January 20, 2024. We envisioned an intimate destination wedding that showcase our indian heritage with royal charm. Living in US and planning a wedding was a huge challenge. It took 11 months of planning to bring that vision into reality. Each function was meticulously themed, from the botanical garden Mehendi with floral outfits and Mediterranean cuisine, to the sparkly Sangeet night featuring neon decor, flying glowy balloon shots, molecular bar and a surprise squid game character entry at the end. Our live food counters of pizza, tacos and hot-chocolate with mash-mellows was a total hit. Our Haldi embraced a boho theme and Enchanted forest theme wedding was adorned in ivory and green decor, provided elegant backdrops for our pastel-clad guest, with personalized touches such as wedding bells at the pheras, guestbook with Polaroid photos of guests for writing messages, surprise newspaper booklet on all the tables showcasing our childhood memories and our relationship story. And our varmala with perfect song and rose petal combined with coldpyros shower was just magical and hard to get over.
Each outfit I wore for every occasion held its own unique story and significance. For the Shagan ceremony, I opted for a Pakistani-inspired look adorned with purple sharara and a paasa on wavy hair. On the engagement day, I dazzled in a shiny mermaid fish cut lehenga designed by Surbhi Chopra, which garnered many compliments. For the Mehendi ceremony, I chose a Papa Don't Preach three-piece sharara set, sketched online by the designer, in pastel pink, yellow, and lilac colors. Paired with a boho bun and subtle rosy makeup, it created a truly unique look. However, the journey of finding my bridal lehenga was an adventure in itself. I explored various boutiques, from Aza Fashion to Rianta, and tried designs by renowned designers like Sabyasachi, Manish Malhotra, and Falguni Shane Peacock. After much deliberation, I narrowed down my choices to Falguni Shane Peacock and Seema Gujral ivory lehengas. Ultimately, I fell in love with the Seema Gujral Kirandori threadwork lehenga, featuring sparkly beads, pearls, and a plunging neckline that exuded elegance and modernity. To personalize the look further, I opted for kundan and polki beautiful gold set with green beads to contrast the ivory lehenga. Additionally , I added a customized head dupatta embellished with Swarovski crystals and embroidery detailing our names and wedding date.
