Don't you think the lockdown has taught us the value of the virtual world? I mean, the thought of not being able to connect with ze folks virtually, during this pandemic, sounds legit like a nightmare. And with everything in the wedding world on hold right now, I realised there's one event/ party which can be thrown online without everyone being together in one place in real. Also, there's the same level of fun stays intact!
Umm.. we're talking about a virtual bachelorette (on FaceTime, Zoom, or any other platform). Sounds cool, right?

In a phase, where brides-to-be are clueless about what next, a virtual bridal shower is much needed for them. Plus, it ain't cliched yet, so why not! Here are a few ideas that will help you plan one for your BFF, so get going already. Surprise her and put on a much-needed smile on her face!

Lock A Fancy Theme

So what, if it's an e-bachelorette, you can definitely have a theme planned for this one as well. DIY the props and amp up your screens to add the vibe. It could be in form of signs, backdrop hues, or headgear - but make sure you use the stuff that you already have at home!

Pick Out A Sassy Outfit

Get rid of those damn PJs and oversized tees, and dress up like a diva. It'll definitely lift the bride-to-be's mood! Psstt.. don't forget to click pictures (umm.. screenshots in case, you want a group shot). There's no lockdown stopping you from making your BFF's day 10x special!

Time To Brush Up Your Culinary Skills

Apart from clinking those wine glasses, one got the prepare a fancy dish in their kitchens (yeah, we'd suggest not to order online). You can take a call if you want to do a cook-off while you all are online or prepare it a night before - totally the squad's call. But trust us, a cook-off would really fun. Like, imagine having 20 minutes or say, 5 ingredients to prepare a dish for the virtual bachelorette. *competitive streak, eh?*

Bride Gets To Give Virtual Thank You Cards To The Gang

Give actual favors a miss, for the time being, and let us go a little back in time when e-cards were a trend. Also, there's nothing better than receiving heartfelt messages from your best friend, right? That essence of feeling special through words has always been priceless.

It's Time For Some Fun Games!

What? Virtual party planning without games? *bursts the bubble* Not happening! From 'never have I ever', to 'a round of charades', you can do it all. And if these games don't interest you anymore, then you have UNO, Scribble.io, Psych to play online with ze squad.

Please Don't Stop The Music

... Because it's time to set the dance floor (at home) on fire! It's going to be a night worth remembering. Dance & music instantly brightens up the party, even if you're miles apart.

And Finally, Just Relax

Oh boy, it was one helluva night, wasn't it? So, what better way to end the fun with an at-home spa sesh! Get into your robes, remove the makeup, and put on your favorite masks. And just chill!

Time To Hit The Social Media

Now that you've successfully hosted an out-of-the-box, virtual bachelorette, how about putting a glimpse of it on social media? Take cues from this virtual proposal or virtual sangeet, and set a trend. Let the world know how the Coronavirus outbreak didn't deter you from making your best friend's bachelorette a memorable one. Don't forget to use a quirky hashtag, ping us if you need help with it.

Virtual party planning isn't as difficult as it sounds. We really hope these tips help you plan a virtual bachelorette soon! Psst.. no one has done it yet, care to be the first one to do it? ;)
