Picturesque Dubai Wedding With A Dreamy Champagne Pink Bridal Lehenga

A stunning location, some super pretty décor, a dreamy champagne pink Sabyasachi lehenga, a classic red Banarasi saree, a much-in-love couple - this wedding boasted of very many elements that made it out to be one for the books. It was initially going to be a Tuscan wedding, but the venue was later changed to Istanbul. However, due to various last moment Covid restrictions, their grand celebrations were finally hosted at Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai - a venue that also happens to hold sentimental value for Kiran and Nishant. Naturally, things panned out to be picture perfect even after being planned in a rush in just 14 days! It was grand yet intimate, opulent yet lowkey, it was everything Kiran and Nishant wanted it to be.

Meet Kiran & Nishant

"He was an extern at our college, my MBBS senior in 2016. That's how we met. The movie ‘Kabir Singh’ is actually a lot like our story," shares the bride.

Reception

From The Bride:

We got married in Dubai at Atlantis, The Palm followed by reception at Palazzo Versace, Dubai. From a love story that's fit for a rom-com to a destination wedding in Dubai with gram-worthy décor and voguish couture, our relationship is what modern fairytales are made of. We wanted to have a wedding we could truly call “ours” - an opulent yet intimate one. So it was a close knit family affair. In 14 days, we planned the most magical three days of our lives. Nishant wanted it to be about the two of us and everybody that really mattered to us. That is why the energy at our wedding was blessed. The Mehendi was about cozy nooks and vivid flowers. The colors of the wedding were lavender, soft pink and powder blue. Merlot hued mosaic floral canopy under which the traditional Indian mandap was made. Steering clear from the usual reds, I wanted something understated yet classy. So I picked a champagne pink Sabyasachi outfit," reveals Kiran about her sartorial choice for the big day.

Vendor Reviews

Venue: Atlantis, The Palm

Abrupt border shutdowns and travel restrictions due to the pandemic caused a lot of trouble for us. Cancelling from Tuscany and Istanbul; 16 days from the set date, only Dubai and Maldives were open. Because the IPL 2021 was being hosted there, we knew UAE wouldn’t close anytime soon. Atlantis has been home to us. It has been a relationship landmark for us since the beginning. We spent our very first holiday at Atlantis and ever since, it was our favorite weekend getaway. So when we had no options in mind, we knew only Atlantis could give us the leeway to host our events through the tough restrictions of the pandemic.

Bridal Makeup: Inna Kolchik

Inna has been working with the Arab Fashion Week for many years. She has been a constant at all major events for Atlantis. It was our privilege that she and her team did our wedding.

Wedding Décor & Planning: Ferns N Petals UAE and Kreative Events

They did a fab job.. I cannot imagine how the wedding could happen without Navpreet ji (owner at Kreative Events) and Chetaniya ji (owner at Ferns N Petals). They went out of their ways to make our life’s most memorable days special for us.
