Pandemic Destination Wedding With An Impeccably Styled Groom & Bride!

It's mostly the bride who shines bright in almost every wedding- the groom does look dapper, but the bride shines just a wee bit shinier. However, here is a wedding where the groom shone as much as the bride, and we loved how the couple was styled, complementing each other perfectly. They wore some drool-worthy outfits, curated and picked carefully, and pulled off effortlessly! Ekakshra and Abhishek's pandemic destination wedding in Jaipur in the lull between the first and second wave looked like a whole lot of fun, and seemed like everyone including the bride and groom had a ball of a time! See for yourself!

Meet Ekakshra and Abhishek

I saw Ekakshra at a restaurant having dessert with some of her friends and there was something about her. Our families went through a close mutual friend as a proper arranged set up and then we met for the first time at the Marriott Coffee Shop. After those 2 hours, I knew, I knew she was the ONE.

Reception

From The Couple:

October 18, 2020. Our wedding happened during peak covid so we really had to limit the number of guests we could have. This was more of a blessing in disguise. It turned out to be such a nice cozy affair with all our close friends and family just the way both of us had always wanted it to be. Our wedding style I'd have to say was minimalistic yet classy, extravagant yet graceful.

Venue

The Oberoi, Rajvilas, Jaipur. I think this was one of the key highlights of our wedding. It was such a beautiful property that just brought every element together.

Groom Outfits

For the Engagement, I wore a Double Breasted Suit by Motif by Udhay Mahajan - one of the finest pieces of clothing I have ever worn with remarkable workmanship. For the Mehndi, it was a mint green achkan by Punit Arora with shoes from Raghavendra Rathore. For the Cocktail, I wore a Tom Ford black tuxedo with dress shoes from Raghavendra Rathore", styled with a custom made Chrome headed cane from Alexander McQueen. The Haldi outfit was a nice vibrant Floral Print kurta by Punit Arora.

My wedding outfit was an Ivory Achkan with a herringbone pattern along with a heavy dupatta with intricate hand woven details accessorized with a custom antique neck piece and banarsi safa. Everything was by Punit Arora. Finally, the Reception outfit was by Shantanu & Nikhil, accessorised with a leather belt and a brooch.
