Two things stand out at this cutesy USA wedding - the fact that most of the stuff is DIY-ed by the bride and the fact that there's a doggie cozily tucked into the ceremony and made for some great photo-ops. Crazy crazy! Well, not just that, the bride and groom from the north and south of India created a great multi-cultural wedding with a great cocktail party and some amazing post-phera shots. All the cool DIY details are here and we absolutely love photography by Colorblind Production★ 5  is amazing!

Meet Shriya & Rahat

"We started as analysts together at Credit Suisse back in 2006. I had asked him to participate in the annual company Diwali show I was organizing :) and that's how we met.  After 7 years of dating, my husband and I finally managed to convince our families to let us get married :)," says Shriya.

I am Tamil and my husband Rahat is Punjabi so we ended up having two weddings - one in Tirupati and the other in Maryland, USA. We DIY-ed most of the wedding and had no planner - so everything you see in the details from the floral turbans our families wore to the boarding pass place cards we had at our reception to the photo booth at our sangeet was handmade and decorated by us. We also want to also call out to our food vendor Sukhadia Caterers who were absolutely incredible to work with and created a magical experience for us with our food stations. Our wedding program, as well as the schedule of events, was completely DIYed by me as well.
