Couples with doggies together, stay together. Okay we just made that up but this sweet and simple Coorgi & Kannadiga wedding packed in a punch today for just that one big reason. Both Megha and Shravan had a simple yet stunning Bangalore wedding with a cute reception with beautiful  doggies in tow. Plus, we are majorly crushing over the innovative ways they used marigold and origami. Photography by PixelStory.in was a visual treat!

Megha & Shravan (M+S)

"We met at architecture school 9 years ago. We were introduced to each other by a common friend. What brought us closer and helped get rid of the initial awkwardness was a prank to pretend to be his love interest. Within a month of knowing each other we were inseparable and enjoyed each other’s company to the hilt. I always had a secret crush on Shravan, tall and handsome, but his quality of never letting anything upset him is something that made me fall madly in love with him. He was always cracking up and there was never a sad moment with him around," says Megha.

The Reception

From The Bride:

"We wanted our wedding to be memorable not just for the two of us but for our immediate families and friends as well. The idea was to cut down on travel time between events particularly for the family and friends so that everyone would be in one place for the one and a half days of functions and celebrate together without worrying about battling traffic or missing events due to travel etc. Most importantly we were both clear that our dogs had to be part of the event at the venue!" says Megha.

"Shravan and I planned the entire event through numerous discussions with our wedding planners, 3 Productions. I have to give credit to Sowmya from 3 Productions for their brilliant guidance and suggestions and mostly for putting up with all our demands, desires and budget constraints. On my part I made all the invites (brides’ side) myself since I wanted a personal touch to everything that was done and so I made 700 handmade pouches in which the printed invites were inserted, an idea that Sowmya tried her best to help out with but had to let me do myself because of my persistence and attention of detail. ☺"adds Megha.

"My Brides outfits were all self-designed with references from google. The wedding saree was purchased from Kanchipuram and the reception saree was gifted by my in-laws, purchased from a boutique, Chandini Collections in Malleswaram. The sangeet outfit and blouses for the sarees were designed by me through a lot of research and referencing. I bought all the fabric and got it tailor made to my measurements from Desire Boutique. Dilshad of Desire Boutique was very obliging and I couldn’t imagine anyone else putting up with and executing my specifications and detailing ideas," explains Megha.
